We will ask you to sign a copy of the letter and will need new clients to identify themselves to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. We will use a third party company (InfoTrack) to complete the AML procedures.

In many conveyancing cases, either sale or purchase transactions, it may be necessary to provide a Legal Indemnity Insurance Policy. This can be because there is a problem with the title, because there are restrictive covenants or because building regulations approval has not been obtained or planning permission is in doubt for alterations or extensions to a property.
Quite often these problems are not problems because we may be able to obtain indemnity policies to cover the risk. If you are buying we would normally expect the seller to pay the cost of the policy and if you are selling the buyer will often request you to pay the cost of the policy.
We have links with a number of different insurers so as to ensure that we get the best price to cover any risk which has been identified.
